This allows your network to automatically find the best path for your data, avoiding interference and keeping things running smoothly. The result is stronger, more consistent Wi-Fi in every room.

On eero Pro 6E and eero Max 7 - TrueMesh actively evaluates each connected device’s connection to the network (and available uplink bands) and picks the ideal mesh backhaul radio band dynamically per connected device to optimize performance. Based on these factors, network traffic is directed using the optimal band for each device individually rather than sending mesh traffic from all devices through the same channel simultaneously.

The eero Max 7 is a router that comes standard with all 5 Gig and 8 Gig Ezee Fiber internet plans. It provides Tri-band Wi-Fi 7 (2:4:4), and has two 10 GbE ports. The eero Max 7 can support 200+ devices, while Wi-Fi 7 supports more than twice the maximum throughput and speeds of Wi-Fi 6E. Wi-Fi 7 is ideal for customers with gigabit+ plans who own hundreds of connected devices or use throughput-intensive and latency-sensitive applications such as multiple high-resolution video conferencing calls, cloud gaming, and 4K or 8K video streaming.

The eero Pro 6E delivers super-fast Wi-Fi and can use the new 6 GHz band when paired with Wi-Fi 6E devices, which means smoother gaming, streaming, and video calls with less delay. It’s also backward compatible, so it works with older eero models and devices that don’t support Wi-Fi 6E—like older phones, laptops, or smart home gadgets. You get wired-like speeds without needing cables, and it can handle over 100 connected devices. Normally an Ezee Fiber Technician will install your eero device and follow the steps below. To set up your eero device, download the eero app, create an account, connect your gateway eero to your modem using an Ethernet cable, and follow the app's instructions to complete the setup.

Here's a quick 6-step overview of the process:

1. Download the eero app: Download the eero app: Download the free eero app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
2. Create an eero account: Open the app and create an eero account. You can use your Amazon account information or create a new account with your email or phone number.
3. Unplug your old modem and router: If you have a separate modem and router, unplug them from power.
4. Make sure Bluetooth is enabled: Turn on Bluetooth on your phone and give the eero app access to Bluetooth when prompted.
5. Connect the gateway eero to your modem: Connect the gateway eero device to your modem using an Ethernet cable.
6. Plug in the eero and modem: Plug the gateway eero device into an available power outlet and then reconnect your modem to power.
