Frequently Asked Questions

No! Fiber optics are purpose built for bandwidth intensive applications and dedicated (non-shared) connectivity. Fiber optic connectivity is ideal for high-bandwidth applications like streaming, gaming, and cloud computing. Fiber internet delivers the fastest speeds available with enough bandwidth for multiple devices to be running at the same time.

A dark fiber network is a fiber-optic network where the owner provides fibers to the individual customer and the customer places equipment on either end(s) to create their own private network. Dark fiber networks are often used by telecommunications companies, Internet Service Providers (ISPs), and large corporations. Dark fiber is called "dark" because the fiber optic cable is laid but not yet in use, meaning no light signals are being transmitted through it.

Ezee Fiber operates a carrier-grade network spanning over 2,000 route miles, serving a diverse range of clients, including governments, educational institutions, hospital systems, businesses, and homes, in Houston, Texas; Albuquerque, Rio Rancho, and Santa Fe, New Mexico; and Kent and Lakewood, Washington.
