Once construction is complete, you and your community can enjoy high-speed, reliable fiber internet at affordable prices.
In order to bring Ezee Fiber Internet to a new area, a whole lot of heavy lifting has to happen. Our professionally designed systems require infrastructure to be built in the entire community, which sometimes requires us to access rights of way or easements that could fall next to or across your property. We work with the appropriate local authorities to obtain the rights to utilize these locations, just like other service providers (such as water and electricity).
Unfortunately, we are unable to move or to care for plants or obstructions that have been placed in the right-of-way or easements where we have been authorized to build. Before construction crews come into your neighborhood to build our network, we will leave door hanger notifications so that you have time to move your plants or obstructions into a safe spot.
All construction happens in the public right of way. The right of way houses utilities including power, water, and in this case the conduit which will carry fast, reliable internet to homes in your neighborhood. Ezee Fiber works to mitigate any potential mess or disruption, we take precautionary measures such as using tarps and boards. Our aim is to minimize the impact on your property and be considerate of your space. We assure you that every effort is made to keep disturbances as minimal and non-intrusive as possible. Furthermore, once the installation is complete, we will diligently restore everything to its original state, ensuring your property returns to its prior condition.
A public "Easement" or "Right of Way" refers to specific portions of your property that are owned by the city for the purpose of accessing and maintaining city utilities. When Ezee Fiber collaborates with the city for the construction of its fiber network, it involves working within these designated areas on your property. A utility "Easement" grants the utility the right to utilize and access a defined portion of your property for activities related to the construction, operation, and maintenance of various utilities, including telecommunications, gas, electric, water, and sewer lines.
The routing of fiber-optic internet service wires is typically determined by the existing infrastructure of your electric service. In cases where your power service is currently underground, the new fiber connection will also be installed underground. To ensure a smooth installation process, please share with us the location of private underground lines for systems such as irrigation sprinklers, landscape lighting, pool equipment, invisible fences, or other similar private systems. This collaboration will help us avoid any interference or disruptions to your existing systems and facilitate the seamless integration of the new fiber-optic internet service.
See when available for your home to get in line and stay up to date on construction and be the first to know when installation appointments open. You might see crews working in your yard one day and then see nothing for a few more weeks. We are working behind the scenes and throughout the neighborhood to ensure your entire community has a 100% fiber connection.
Certainly, Ezee Fiber ensures the restoration of your landscaping and the repair of any damage to sprinkler systems caused during construction. The crew engaged in the construction process takes meticulous care, employing techniques such as careful digging or potholing to prevent damages in the first place. If an oversight does occur, any missed damages are fixed, restoring your landscaping and sprinkler systems to their pre-construction condition.
Prior to construction, our crews collaborate with USIC, the nation's largest provider of public utility location services. In preparation for construction, USIC marks existing utilities in the public right-of-way using flags and/or environmentally friendly chalk. It is important to note that the paint applied typically has a temporary lifespan, lasting only a few weeks before fading or washing away. Please do not remove these flags for any reason, they are placed to ensure the safety of you, your family, your neighbors and our crews.
